Before First Use:
Turn device on by clicking 5 times within 2 seconds. Light should flash indicating device has turned on. Test this by pressing the button down. If the light illuminates then the device is on.
Before loading the chamber press and release the button quickly a few times until the coil begins to glow evenly. The coil should not glow heavily in any one area. They should always heat from the inside out. (middle of the coils should heat first)
Battery level indication light- Light colors change from:
Green- (100% full charge)
Yellow- (75% of full charge) Blue- (50% half charge) Red color light (25% of battery remaining) After Use: Turn device off by clicking 5 times within 2 seconds. Light should flash indicating device has turned off. Test this by pressing the button down. If the light does not illuminate then the device is off. Cleaning: After use follow these steps for proper cleaning: take the coil off of the base take the base off of the battery Run an alcohol wipe over the base of the coil Run an alcohol wipe over the inside and outside of the base (paying special attention to the pin) Run an alcohol wipe over the inside and outside of the top connection to the battery. Let dry then you can place all pieces back together. Charging
Wall Adapter: At no time should a wall adapter with fast charging capabilities be used. Fast Charging devices have a logo that looks like a black triangle, a lightning bolt, or they could say fast charging on the adapter. Most new smart phones are using this feature.
Computer port: When plugging the device into a computer port, make sure to only use black ports, and make sure the computer does not go into sleep mode, or hibernate, as these will interrupt the charging cycle.
Green color light (100% full charged)
Yellow color light (75% level) Blue color light (50% level) Red color light (25% level
When full charged: Green light flashes 2 times then the light shuts off, as it enters a resting state.
Low-voltage warning: when the voltage is below 3.2v+/-01v, press and hold on the button, red light flashes 10 times then shuts off. This means the device needs charged, please look at the charging section for further information.
Short circuit protect: red light flashes 3times then shuts off. This is an automatic protection feature of the device. This can be caused by a variety of factors. Most common, is a part of the metal coil touching a sidewall of the coil. This can be fixed, by gently nudging the coil towards the center of the coil head.
Low-resistance protect: if the resistance is below 0.2ohm, red light flashes 3times then shuts off. This is an automatic protection feature of the device. This can be caused by a variety of factors. Most commonly this is caused by a lack of tightness between the coil, and the base.
